Open afternoon in Acorn and Maple classes

Thank you so much to everyone who visited us in class today and contributed so generously to the Cats Protection League. We were thrilled to raise £57.25 which the charity will be very grateful for! The children were so excited to show you the things they had made.

Have a wonderful half term!

What have we been learning this week?

Owen and Dylan joining materials to make their cat toys

Mrs Pugh's daughter loaned us her beautiful Ark - the children loved marching the animals in 'two by two'….

We've been using rice and little pots to learn new vocabulary in our Little Big Maths sessions - full, empty, nearly full, half full, almost empty etc

We went outside to practise adding numbers together - it was lots of fun…

We needed some raindrops for our Noah's Ark display - a great excuse to do some bubble printing...

We also needed a 'sun' to make our rainbow - picking up little pieces of paper is great for practising our pincer grip...

Thanks Alexa - we needed an extra snow lion and you did a brilliant job!

Clever girl, Evie - putting the marble run together...

Then the children decided they wanted the sun to be sparkly!
