As part of our theme Dens, Holes and Hiding Places, we're off to Rumble in the Jungle on Wednesday May 6th to do some climbing, hiding, running and jumping - rounding it all off with a buffet lunch! Letters to follow after Easter.

Celebrating Easter

We've had so much fun playing with our Easter scene in the tuff spot ……. chicks, rabbits, hens, eggs and our own little Easter tree.

It's great fun watching your friend using the iPads!

This week it's all about Easter!

Easter

We're learning all about Easter traditions in Acorn class this week - the Easter story, making Easter cards, chromatography eggs, cutting out egg shapes, play dough eggs and chicks, decorating our Easter tree, Easter themed Maths including an egg hunt, Easter rhymes and stories and even an egg and spoon race! Lots to look forward to!!!

We had such a good time today - we met Radical Rhys who showed us some fun Science…..

We loved our special glasses -

Aston was mesmerised…..

 Rhys gave us sheets with coloured shapes and torches with different coloured lights

Then Rhys gave us felt pens and filter papers and asked us to draw a pattern. He said we could spray water on them when we went back to class. Something exciting might happen to the colours...

 We used special torch pens to draw patterns…

After all that Science, Alexa sat down with a good book for a little rest and relaxation...

We also found out that some materials let light shine through and some don't
